A Beautiful Braxted Park Wedding

Updated: Jan 25, 2023

In September I had the absolute honour of being the florist for Leiley and Stefan who got married at the beautiful Braxted Park. It was such a stunning wedding I just had to share some images.

The Flowers

The colour palette was softest blush with ivory, whites and lots of lush wispy foliage.

I used lots of locally grown flowers which are just unbeatable for texture, colour and smell. And choosing the exact Cafe au Laits is always so much fun. Getting the perfect blooms for the bouquets is just so important so to be able to personally choose them in the field is so special.

September is such a good month for British grown flowers. I used a mixture of dahlia, cosmos, nigella, ammi, hydrangea, roses and astilbe. Along with lots of eucalyptus!

The Ceremony

I decorated the aisle with floating candles and foliage to give an elegant entrance to the wedding. The top of the aisle was framed with the most romantic, textured flowered arch. In front of the arch was an Iranian ceremony table, put together by Leileys Dad and Brother. It was so lovely to hear about the different meanings behind all the special items on it.

The Reception

For the reception we filled the room with gold bowls overflowing with flowers, tall tapered ivory and blush candles in antique gold candlesticks and the arch was moved over to stand behind the top table. Then table plan was decorated with more big blooms and the overall look was just so beautifully romantic.

I absolutely loved flowering this beautiful wedding. Leiley and Stefan were just the dream couple to work with and I just wish them all the happiness in the world going forward. Thank you for letting me share your special pictures.
